- For some older bows - AMO -3 for Longbow and AMO -4 for Recurve

BASICS OF BRACE HEIGHT
Brace height: the distance from the belly of the bow to the string. Brace height should be between 6-8 inches for 72” bows and 5-7 inches for 65” bows.
ADJUSTING BRACE HEIGHT
Leave the one end of the string on the limb slide it down, remove the other loop so it is not attached to the bow as shown above. To Increase Brace Height: Twist the string until it gets shorter, then string the bow to check brace height. To Reduce Brace Height: Twist the string until it gets longer, then string the bow to check brace height
